A Song at Twilight

Author

Lilian Harry

Lilian Harry, also known as Donna Baker, grew up in Portsmouth. She was a child during WWII and remembers the air raid sirens, rushing to the shelter at the bottom of the garden, the searchlights criss-crossing the sky, the roar of exploding bombs and the barrage balloons floating above - all memories that lend her books such vivid atmosphere. She now lives in a village on the edge of Dartmoor with three ginger cats. She has a son, a daughter and two grandchildren and is a keen walker.
