Lisa Shanahan lives in Sydney. She trained as an actor at Theatre Nepean, University of Western Sydney and is a teacher and writer. She is the author of SWEETIE MAY and SWEETIE MAY OVERBOARD. Bettina Guthridge is a designer and one of Australia's best loved illustrators for children. Bettina is the author and illustrator of the SOLO TRAVEL series, and among the many books she has illustrated are the MANGO STREET series and the EGG books, both with Margaret Clark. Bettina lives in Melbourne.
