Jen Breach writes character-based adventure comics about ordinary children in extraordinary circumstances. She has written a regular media column for The Big Issue magazine since 2009 and her essays have appeared in TBI, The Reader, The Emerging Writer and Newswrite. She has reviewed comics, graphic novels and books for The Age newspaper, TBI, NSW Writer's Centre and the State Library of Victoria's Centre for Youth Literature. Jen is a 2013 ASA Mentorship Winner and was a 2012 Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, Florida. She gratefully acknowledges the support of the Australia Council for the Arts.
