June Colbert came to Australia from the UK at the age of six. She obtained a BA and Dip. Ed. at Sydney University and became a secondary school teacher of English, French and Music. In addition to writing books, June also tutors in literacy and English, and has a passion for encouraging young people to discover enjoyment in reading.
